About Phuong

Phuong Dinh is an enthusiastic art lover and dedicated photographer based in Vancouver, British Columbia. She enjoys capturing the beauty of landscapes and the natural world, with a particular focus on flowers, insects, and birds. Drawing inspiration from her Vietnamese heritage and a decade living in Japan, Phuong blends cultural influences to create images that highlight beauty, connection, and the quiet poetry of everyday life.

Her work has been recognized nationally, with one of her images accepted into the Fine Art category of the 2024 Canadian Association for Photographic Art Digital Salon Competition and digitally exhibited during the CAPA Annual Conference in June 2024. Her photographs have been shared with the community through displays at Burnaby Lake Regional Park (2024, 2025), Kerrisdale Camera (2023-2025) as well as exhibitions at Burnaby Public Library, including the McGill Branch (June–September 2025) and the Bob Prittie Metrotown Branch (September–December 2025). Beyond her artistic practice, Phuong also contributes to her community through volunteering, including supporting the Vancouver Golf Open Tournament in 2024 and 2025.

Through both her creative and community work, Phuong’s photography reflects a love for storytelling, nature, and tradition, inviting viewers to see the world through a thoughtful and poetic lens.
